 Order Information FAQ's 
  • How do I cancel or change my order?

             To cancel/change an order, first, check the status of your order to ensure that it has not already shipped. If a tracking number has NOT yet been assigned, you can cancel your order by sending email   to us and we will cancel the  order accordingly.

             If we are unable to stop your order before it ships, and the order has been assigned a tracking number, contact us via  email  for assistance in setting up a return.

  • How do I check the status of my order?

            You'll need  the  tracking number  to check the status of your order thru FedEx, USPS, Canadapost, Auspost, Singpost site etc,  URL  is   provided in the   shipping notification. You can find  tracking  number on the shipping  confirmation that we e-mailed to you after we shipped  your order.

  •  What are my payment options?

  •  Why does the price of memory fluctuate?

            Supply and demand.  Manufacturers focuses their memory manufacturing on the most in-demand memory to keep prices at their lowest, but occasional changes in market demands will alter inventories and, therefore, raise or lower prices. MemoryOnlineShop, by selling direct from the factory, is more able to adapt to changing market conditions and give you lower prices.

  •  What happens after I place my order?

            After you place your order, our  Customer  Assistants will  check   your order  status to make  sure  that  payment is received.   Accurate orders with   complete shipping informations are gathered   then sent to our  shipping department for shipment process. We require 1 working day to prepare & schedule goods dispatch upon our confirmation of fund receipt, ie if fund shows on Wednesday bank statement, typically we will ship on Thursday.

  • Is it possible to pay by check?
            We're sorry but MemoryOnlineShop currently only accepts payment by bank transfer, nochex and paypal online payments only.
  • I haven't received my order.

        Please contact us right away to let us know that your package has not arrived and may be lost. We'll ask the shipping company to begin a trace of the package. Please do not call the carrier yourself as this may complicate the process. You may e-mail us at sales@memoryonlineshop.com for assistance.

 
 
 
 Returns & Warranty FAQ's
  •   What's your return policy?
         Items must be return within : 14 Days
 
           Returns are only accepted for goods that are DOA (dead on arrival). All retail packing, accessories, adaptors, sticker, labels, etc (if there is), have to be returned in original condition. Buyer is responsible for compatibility issues. Please consult with the device manual or manufacturer before bidding. Buyer pays shipping for returns. If goods returned is in working condition, buyer will pay shipping for re-despatch. Shipping is re-imbursable, only if our engineer confirms goods is DOA.

        If you have any problems with your memory during the free 30-day trial period, please send an email to sales@memoryonlineshop.com
. We'll give you an RMA (return material authorization) number that will help us track your return and make sure you receive your refund or exchange as soon as possible.
        In the unlikely event that your memory fails after the free 30-day trial period, email us. At MemoryOnlineShop, our limited warranty guarantees that your product will work properly.

Note: To protect our company against abuse of this policy, MemoryOnlineShop reserves the right to charge a restocking fee (up to 30%) at our discretion.
  • What if I need to return my order?
          MemoryOnlineShop products are of the highest quality. It's rare for customers to need to return their memory. However, if you're not satisfied with your purchase, please   e-mail us at sales@memoryonlineshop.com right away.
  •  Tell me about your lifetime warranty.        

            We understand that purchasing computer hardware can be a frustrating process. That's why all of our memory products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.  Please make sure to check Compatibility website to find the right memory upgrade for your computer, and we guarantee that your memory will be compatible with your system and give you the performance boost you're looking for. In the unlikely event that your module is defective or you are not happy with the performance of the memory please email us! We will happily replace it at any time.
 
 
Shipping FAQ's
 
  • Do Shipping costs increase if you purchase more than one item?
               Yes. Shipping & handling charge is fixed per item as we ship individually. Bulky shipments always attract custom attention more.
  • From where my order ships?         

             It depends on where your order is being shipped and how you place your order. If you are having your memory shipped to Australia your order will be ship from Australia Post.  This will give you the best and fastest shipping. If you are having your memory shipped anywhere else in the world, your order will be ship from Singapore Post. All order will be shipped thru Postal Service.
  • What countries do you ship?
            MemoryOnlineShop ships to almost every country in the world. Only very few countries cannot serve (due to custom’s very tight policy). 
  • Why doesn't my tracking number work?
            MemoryOnlineShop assigns a tracking number as soon as your order is packaged for shipment; however, the number won't work until the courier scans the package bar code. In most cases, your tracking number should work within 2 weeks for overseas shipments, but for local shipping 2-3 days you can check the status already.

  • I just bought a digital camera. Why should I buy a flash card reader?
            Most likely, your digital camera connects to your computer through a USB or serial port, but this can be inconvenient. A flash card reader attaches to your PC's USB port and transfers data between your digital camera and your computer without the need to connect the camera itself to the computer. You can transfer data even when you don't have your camera with you.

  • Which flash card reader should I buy?
            Most card readers are distinguished by the format they read. The flash card reader you buy should depend upon the type of flash memory you use.

  • How many pictures will fit on a flash storage card?

            It depends on the resolution of your photos, how they are compressed (usually jpg or tif), and the size of your flash card. In general, tif files are of higher quality than jpg files, but they take up more room. Uncompressed files are the highest quality and are the largest. Average users often find that they can fit about 36 images on a 16MB card.
  • What is USB?

  • What is a flash memory?
            About the size of a matchbook, a flash memory card is a small, removable storage device used in a variety of electronic devices, including digital cameras, handheld computers, and digital music players. Flash cards are designed with flash technology, a non-volatile storage solution that does not lose its information once power is removed from the card. Flash cards contain no moving parts and are extremely rugged, providing users with much greater protection of their data than conventional magnetic disk drives.
  • How do I install my flash card?
             In most cases, installation is very easy. All you have to do is slide the card into the flash slot on your device. Since every device is a little bit different, it is best to consult your owner's manual for specific installation instructions.
  • What is the difference between PC2100(DDR266), PC2700(DDR333), and PC3200(DDR400)? 

             Although these are all types of double data rate (DDR) memory, the varying numbers refer to the different speeds of memory your computer was designed for. Crucial no longer carries PC2100 (DDR266) memory, but PC2700 (DDR333) memory and PC3200 (DDR400) are backward-compatible with PC2100. 

            Memory is designed to be backward-compatible, so generally speaking, you can safely add faster memory to a computer that was designed to run slower memory. However, your system will operate at the speed of the slowest module or system component (the "lowest common denominator" effect). 

            One thing to keep in mind is that the memory does need to be the same type-for example, SDRAM cannot be mixed with DDR, and DDR cannot be mixed with DDR2.
